Deleting your account

You can delete your NetForPet account and its data at any time, directly from the app or the website. You do not need to contact us first.

How to delete your account

1. Open NetForPet on your phone or at www.netfor.pet and sign in. 2. Go to Settings. 3. Open the "Danger zone" section and tap "Delete account". 4. Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away by an automatic server-side process.

What gets deleted

Your profile and all of your pets and their health records; your posts, comments, stories, photos, marketplace listings and lost-pet reports; your reviews, favorites, notifications, paw balance and settings; your username; your follows; and your NetForPet sign-in identity.

What is kept, and why

Messages you sent to other people stay in those people's chats, with your name replaced by a removed-user placeholder, so their conversation still makes sense. We may also keep limited records for longer where the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute and enforce our terms (for example, moderation history of removed content).

Prefer to download your data first

Settings also has a "Your data" option that exports your information as a file before you delete.

Can't sign in

If you cannot access your account, email privacy@netfor.pet from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
