The deal

NetForPet is a community for pet lovers. Use it kindly and lawfully, and it's yours to enjoy. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher, to use NetForPet. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your content and license

You own the content you post. To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt your content solely for the purpose of running and promoting NetForPet. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for copies retained for legal or safety reasons or already shared with others.

Acceptable use

Be respectful and lawful. Don't post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, spam, or harmful to animals or people. Don't impersonate others, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation. Listings for the sale of live animals must comply with your local law; endangered-species trade and animal-cruelty content are strictly forbidden.

Moderation and termination

Our moderators may warn, remove content, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. Reports are reviewed by humans and actions are logged. You can end your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

Not professional advice

Species guides, health-journal features and community answers are general information, not veterinary, legal or financial advice. AI-generated content — such as suggested pet bios and the weekly pet horoscopes — is a writing aid or entertainment, may be inaccurate, and is not advice of any kind. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your animal's health.

Marketplace and services

Transactions between users (marketplace, pet-sitting, professional bookings, adoption) are agreements between those users, and we are not a party to them. For service bookings we do not handle the money at all: you agree payment directly with the other person, and we currently take no commission. Marketplace checkout is different — where in-app payment is available, we process the payment through our payment provider and charge the seller a platform fee per sale (currently 7%, or 4% with a Pro seller subscription); listing remains free and the fee applies only to a paid checkout. Sellers are responsible for the legality, description, condition and delivery of what they sell, and for any tax they owe. Refunds and cancellations are handled through the order's states in the app; if a dispute cannot be resolved between buyer and seller, contact us and we will help, but we do not guarantee an outcome.

Intellectual property and takedown

Respect others' intellectual property. If you believe content on NetForPet infringes your copyright or other IP rights, send a notice to legal@netfor.pet identifying the content and your rights, and we will review and act on valid notices, including removing infringing content and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at legal@netfor.pet so we can try to resolve it informally; if we cannot, it will be resolved in the forum named above.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use NetForPet after an update means you accept the revised terms.
