Acceptance of these terms

NetForPet is an online community and set of tools for pet owners, operated by Oded Moshe, a sole proprietorship based in Israel ("NetForPet", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and NetForPet. By creating an account, or by accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our U.S. Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are written for residents of the United States; residents of Israel and other countries are governed by our general Terms of Use.

Eligibility and children

You must be at least 13 years old to use NetForPet. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly at support@netfor.pet if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may close your account at any time from the account settings, which begins deletion of your data as described in the U.S. Privacy Notice.

Your content and the license you grant

You retain ownership of the content you post — your text, photos and other media, pet profiles, listings, reviews and messages. To operate the service, you grant NetForPet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and display), publish and display your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting NetForPet. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies retained for legal or safety reasons, backups made in the ordinary course, or content that others have already shared. You are responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the rights necessary to post it.

Acceptable use

Use NetForPet lawfully and respectfully, and follow our Community Guidelines. Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, deceptive, infringing, spam, or that shows or encourages cruelty, neglect or the illegal treatment of animals; content promoting animal fighting or the trade of endangered species is strictly forbidden. Do not impersonate others, share someone else's private information without consent, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, introduce malware, or interfere with the service's normal operation. We may remove content and warn, suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules; reports are reviewed by people and enforcement actions are logged.

Marketplace, listings and services between users

NetForPet is a venue that helps users find one another — for marketplace listings, community pet-sitting, professional bookings, adoption and similar arrangements. Any transaction or arrangement is solely between the users involved. NetForPet is not a party to it, does not process payments, does not take a commission, and does not act as a broker, agent, escrow, insurer or guarantor for any user or transaction. We do not verify every user's identity, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or delivery of anything listed or arranged. You deal with other users at your own risk, agree any payment directly between yourselves, and are responsible for your own legal and tax obligations. If a dispute arises between users, you agree to resolve it between yourselves; we may, but are not obligated to, help.

No veterinary or professional advice

NetForPet does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Species and breed guides, health-journal features, community answers, and AI-generated content (such as suggested pet bios and weekly pet horoscopes) are general information, a writing aid, or entertainment — they may be inaccurate and must never be relied on as advice, and they are not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed veterinarian. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your animal's health, and seek emergency care when your animal needs it. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read on NetForPet.

Copyright and DMCA policy

We respect intellectual property rights and expect you to do the same. If you believe content on NetForPet infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@netfor.pet that includes: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (such as the URL); (4) your contact information (address, telephone number and email); (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. We will respond to valid notices, may remove the material, and will terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If your content was removed, you may submit a counter-notice containing the corresponding elements. Third-party links and affiliate disclosure

NetForPet contains links to third-party websites and services that we do not control — including outbound links to independent pet-insurance providers and other partners. We do not process or offer insurance ourselves; those are third parties, and their products, terms and privacy practices are their own. Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase or sign up through them, at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for third-party sites, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any content is accurate or reliable. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetForPet and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service or any dealings or transactions with other users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NetForPet and its operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service, your dealings or transactions with other users, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove your content, if you violate these terms or the law, or to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses already granted to others, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except that nothing in these terms deprives you of the mandatory consumer-protection rights and protections of the U.S. state in which you reside. Before bringing any formal dispute, please contact us at support@netfor.pet so we can try to resolve it informally. [Note to counsel: decide on venue/forum and whether to add a U.S. dispute-resolution / arbitration and class-action-waiver clause; none is included here pending that decision.]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Your continued use of NetForPet after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
