Privacy Policy

What we store

Your account profile (name, handle, avatar, optional location), your pets' profiles, the content you create (posts, comments, messages, reviews, health records, documents) and technical data needed to run the service. Health records and their documents are private to you and protected by server-enforced security rules — no other user can read them.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not read your private messages except as required for moderation when content is reported.

Your controls

Per-post audiences (public / followers / private), a private-account mode with follow approval, per-type notification and email preferences including area lost-pet alerts, muted words, and blocking. You can export your data as a file from Settings at any time.

Deletion

Deleting your account from Settings removes your profile, pets, posts, comments and messages through a server-side cascade. Content required for safety records (e.g. moderation history of removed content) may be retained as allowed by law.

Storage & processing

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Auth). Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and never visible to us. Shared links you create (for example a pet's public page) are public to anyone holding the link.
