📖 饲养指南
The Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) comes from south-eastern South America, including Argentina and Uruguay, and reaches about 6 to 7 cm. Its southern origin gives it a genuinely wider temperature tolerance than most corys: it does well from around 18 to 24C and is one of the few tropical-shelf fish suited to an unheated indoor tank in a mild climate. Long-finned and albino lines are widely bred. Keep six or more in 80 litres or more, pH 6.0 to 7.5, over sand, with driftwood and planting for cover. Feed sinking wafers, frozen bloodworm, daphnia and brine shrimp. It is entirely peaceful and an excellent companion for other cool-tolerant fish such as white cloud minnows and rosy barbs. Two practical notes: it is one of the easiest corydoras to breed, often spawning after a cool water change without any planning, and it dislikes sustained warmth above about 26C, which shortens its life. If the rest of the tank runs hot, choose bronze or sterbai corys instead.
