The Kurilian Bobtail evolved on the harsh Kuril islands and carries a hardy, self-assured temperament to match. It is affectionate and dog-like with its own people, gets along with children and other pets, and each short, kinked tail is as unique as a fingerprint. These are natural athletes and skilled fishers who love water, jumping and problem-solving.
