The Bambino is a small, hairless breed created by crossing the Sphynx with the Munchkin, resulting in a warm, wrinkled cat on short legs. Its personality is pure affection: outgoing, playful, people-focused and constantly seeking contact and warmth from its family. Curious and sociable, Bambinos enjoy interactive play and following their humans around, though their short legs make them more ground-dwelling than climbers. They bond strongly, dislike being alone, and often do best with a companion animal and a warm, draught-free home. Hairless skin needs regular gentle bathing or wiping to remove oils, protection from sun and cold, and clean ears, while short legs call for attention to mobility and joints. Screen for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and patellar problems, keep the cat warm, and maintain routine dental care for a comfortable, healthy life.
