The Toybob is a rare natural Russian breed and one of the smallest cats in the world, staying kitten-sized for life with a short, kinked bobtail. Despite the diminutive frame it is well-proportioned and hardy, with a gentle, affectionate and quietly playful temperament. Toybobs are devoted, dog-like companions that bond closely with their families, enjoy interactive play and gentle fetch, and settle happily onto a lap. They are calm and adaptable, good with children and other pets, and rarely demanding, which makes them easy, engaging housemates. The short, plush coat needs only a weekly brush and minimal fuss. As a robust natural breed the Toybob has no signature inherited disease; because of its tiny size, keep a close eye on portion sizes to prevent obesity, maintain good dental hygiene, and schedule routine checks including kidney health as the cat ages.
