The Orange Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion sandaracinos) is found across the western Pacific from Indonesia to the Philippines and northern Australia, growing to roughly 11 to 13 cm. Unlike most clownfish it wears no vertical bars at all, only one wide white dorsal stripe that starts on the upper lip and runs unbroken to the tail. Its natural host is Merten's carpet anemone, but it is not dependent on one in captivity. Keep a single fish or a bonded pair in a 100 litre or larger reef tank at 24-27C, salinity 1.024-1.026, pH 8.1-8.4. It is reef safe, accepts prepared foods almost immediately and does well on mysis, enriched brine and quality marine pellets fed twice a day. Its gentle disposition is the main planning constraint: introduce it before, not after, any pushier fish, and skip the combination with maroon or tomato clowns entirely. Two unbonded adults of this species will also squabble, so buy a pair together or keep just one.
